The 35 Whelen is made from (or styled from) the parent 30-06 case
The .35 Whelen has it all... it will shoot far heavier bullets than the '06, it shoots them faster and flatter, with way more energy on target. Close on the heels of the .375 with far less recoil and better accuracy she's got a lot to love. It drives the 200 gr. bullet to 3000 fps, the 250 gr. to nearly 2800 fps, and the 300 gr. to 2400... what's not to like... Drops Moose and lesser animals in their respective tracks, DOA...
