Attaching Badlands Pack Accessory Pouch to Superday Pack

The Badlands Accessory Pouch

The Badlands Accessory Pouch

Mark did a YouTube video in 2011 and he attached a GPS pouch to his Badlands Superday Pack. It looked very secure and I was wondering how he did it.

Thanks, Steve

Steve, thanks for your inquiry.

The Badlands accessory pouch came with a plastic clip to attach to loops and belts. However, I was unable to secure the pouch to the Superday Backpack in the fashion the clip was intended to use.

I removed the clip and with a little difficulty was able to unthread the belt from the waist strap on the backpack and then thread it through the opening on the pouch before threading it back though the waist strap holes.

I know this wasn't the intended way to attach the pouch but it became a vital add-on to the pack.

The Superday has since been updated so I don't know if the pouch can be attached the same way that I did it.

One pretty major problem that was addressed with the update was the side pouch puckering which made opening the zippers difficult for the wearer. I understand the new pack has fixed the problem.

I don't own the pack anymore and have switched to using and endorsing Sitka Gear.
