Blaser R93

by Jim H.
(Ontario, Canada)

After trying several other rifles, I settled on the Blaser R93 with a synthetic stock. It is reliable, accurate, durable, light weight, easily taken apart for cleaning (and can be re-assembled with no accuracy loss), has a fantastic trigger, and provides extremely fast follow up shots if needed. About the only drawback is the price, but in this case, you do get what you pay for.

Blaser R93 Rifle
by: Mark - Site Owner

Jim,
The Blaser R93 Rifle is a piece of art. Originally designed as a German sniper rifle with superb accuracy - sub .25 MOA grouping.

The capability to switch barrels for up to 28 different calibers with no accuracy loss is an amazing attribute to this firearm.

Another of its landmark features is the straight pull bolt. Instead of the normal lift and pull the Blaser R92 Rifle requires the user to pull the bolt handle straight back to eject and push forward to seat the new cartridge.

Safety of course is always paramount when handling firearms and the Blaser R39 design has taken this into consideration as well. With the safety engaged the rifle is actually in an un-cocked position leave the firearm unable to fire. Once the hunter removes the safety by pushing the thumb slide forward, this action actually cocks the rifle.

You have made a fine choice in choosing the Blaser R39 Rifle and I do not think you will be disappointed in your choice.
