Moose with One Antler

Moose with One Antler

Was out looking for shed antlers and saw a moose standing in a cut trail, nothing out of the ordinary for the area I was in, but then I noticed he only had one antler.

I was fortunate enough that he posed long enough for me to get the picture. I then started looking around in hoping his loss would be my gain and sure enough about 100 yards from where he stood peaking out from the snow there it was.......

There you go! I guess shedding has started back east too! Great find too!

It's not often we're lucky to find moose sheds within minutes of them falling off.
