Thinking about moose hunting or just getting out to take pictures? I know some of you will be.

Spring is a great time to get out and look for shed antlers. If you are fortunate enough to live near where moose winter, shedding can be a great extension to the moose season.
Hint: A lot of shed hunters like to take photographs of sheds where they find them (in their natural state). If you do, please share some with us. You can post them to the moose hunting stories page.

It's never to soon to start making lists and getting your thoughts in order. The fall season will be here before you know it!

In preparation for this years moose hunt, my hunting partners and I have already been practicing our archery. It doesn't matter if you are an archer or a rifle hunter, be sure you get out to the range and practice! It's super important you don't shoot at animals any greater distance than what you normally practice at. This will ensure clean hits and harvested game.

New for us this coming season... It's been decided that hauling our travel trailer into the bush is causing too much wear and tear on it. This year we are buying a wall tent and will be full on camping. If any of you have wall tent camp tricks I'd love to hear them.
