308 Remington Pump Action

I use a 308 Remington Pump action. They say that Remington is the only gun manufacturer that makes a pump action rifle. I use a one eighty grain bullet.
I feel comfortable with this rifle up to 200 yards.You have to be careful when you buy shells now because some manufacturers make shells for light skinned animals and big game.
Light skinned for deer and shells for moose and bear with heavy hides. Make sure you check the box to make sure of what you are buying and if the shell is heavy enough for big game.
Six moose were introduced to Newfoundland from New Brunswick in 1904 to Howley. All the moose population started from Howley.
