We get so much moose, here on the Island, that we had to get a second deep freeze.

Today I made Mooseloaf. Looks sound!:) Thank you!!!!



Thanks for sharing Carla. Mooseloaf is one of my favorite recipes to make using moosemeat.

My wife is also from the "The Rock"... she says there are so many moose in NL that they are really just speed bumps.

I suppose that has something to do with the fact there are so many moose and vehicle collisions.

Moose meat Loaf

I did a moose loaf a couple weeks ago. Mixed a bunch of good meatloaf items made it all into a round loaf shape, into our Bradley Smoker for a few hrs at 220 degrees with smoke then finished in the oven with BBQ sauce topping..

Hope to have a musk ox to try in three weeks when I get back form my hunt in the high arctic..
