moose calling
I have called in lots of bulls over the years but I never shoot, them it is only for entertainment.
I called in a large bull and a buddy took a shot at him and missed totally. What do you think the chances of getting another shot at him in the same area, not the same spot but somewhere in his territory?
I would think you will still have a good chance at seeing him. He will remember there was a cow in the area where there was a scary noise. He'll be back.
If you are diligent with your calling, I think you stand a good chance at calling that moose back. He may be a little more cautious this time, he may even come in silently.
