Immature Bull Moose Summer Antler Growth Close-up

These pictures were taken by my trail camera.
A small bull and two cow moose came in to the meadow where they spent a lot of time wandering and laying to rest.

The bull comes in close to check out the camera and later lays with a cow as a whitetail walks by.

A few nice photos of an immature bull moose still in velvet. The close-up is awesome! It's not often we get close-up and personal pictures of live moose unless in captivity.

Wild, natural and uncut these moose picture show moose in their natural environment.

For those who are studying moose this is a prime example of a core area. Food, shelter and escape routes nearby. Comfortable enough to lay down for a snooze or ruminating. Remember core areas are the little pockets where you find moose concentrated, you'll know them by finding moose and lots of moose sign. Very different from a moose home range.

Ken, Thanks for sharing.
