Possible Fossil Moose Track

Came across this track in Hamilton Ontario, Canada.
It’s fossilized in bedrock. Wondering if this is a moose track at all. Maybe a beef cow track. No idea. Also, not sure how old this is, but the rocks around here are millions of years old.
How far back do moose go ?
Thanks.

Thanks for sharing! That is quite the find. I would check with some local archeologists as let them have a look. If the track is fossilized that would mean the track is millions of years old. I don’t think moose as we know them were around back then.
It is not an area of expertise that I am familiar with.
Please let us know any further information you find out. Very interesting indeed.
