Ingredients:
-2-3 lb. moose steak cut into cubes
garlic to taste
-1 large onion thinly sliced
-2 stalks celery
-16 oz. can chopped tomatoes
-1 teaspoon salt
pepper
-1 table spoon worchestershire sauce
-1 table spoon brown sugar
-1 teaspoon honey
-1 tablespoon olive oil
-1 cup red wine.
Directions:
-brown moose meat in olive oil.
-put half of onion and diced celery in bottom of slow cooker.
-place moose on top.
-add remaining onion and celery.
-add salt and pepper seasoning.
-mix together tomatoes with worchestershire sauce, brown sugar, honey and red wine.
-place on top of moose
-bake in slow cooker for six to eight hours on medium setting. Serve on a bed of rice or favourite noodles.
