Ontario Moose Hunting

Cow and Calf Moose

Cow and Calf Moose

Is this a good area for Moose? Is there an area in Ontario that is a good place to go and is there a preferred guide for that area?

You are asking a pretty vague question?

According to Wikipedia:
There are approximately 250,000 lakes and over 100,000 kilometres (62,000 mi) of rivers in the province. It is Canada's second largest province in total land area.... 1,076,395 km²

Surely there are some good areas for moose there!

I'm not from Ontario nor have I ever hunted there, maybe some of our visitors will give up some ideas as to narrow down your choices for areas in Ontario to go moose hunting.

I'm surely not suggesting someone is going to give you their own honey hole locations, but there may be some indications as to where to start.

Using Google Earth set to Universal Transverse Mercator you might find a great spot!
643796.47 m E
6447932.25 m N

Then again... maybe not!

Good luck with your quest!
